Morning Drop Off: All students are to be dropped off in the circular drive (see info about the middle school car line option below).  If your child is late to school, (not in class by the 7:50 am bell), walk them into the office to be checked-in.  A faculty member will escort them to their classroom.  Please make every effort to arrive on time to start the school day smoothly for your child, their teachers, and our office staff.  This is greatly appreciated.

Afternoon Dismissal: 3:05 pm for day care van riders, bus riders, and students of LaTech employees.  Carline will follow at 3:10.  If you are a LaTech employee, proper paperwork must be filled out for your student to walk or be dismissed, to you, from the flagpole.  Contact our office for more information.  A faculty ID is necessary.  Please renew paperwork annually.

Middle School Carline: 5th - 8th grade students with no siblings younger than 5th grade may be dropped off and picked up in the band building parking lot between A. E. Phillips and Woodard Hall.

  • These students may be dropped off directly in front of the band building beginning at 7:35 am.  Please do not arrive earlier because we do not want to block teacher parking. Students may not be dropped off behind parked cars.

  • These students may be picked up directly in front of the band building beginning at 3:10.  Please do not arrive earlier because we do not want to block teacher parking and cause traffic back-up.

  • To access this drop-off point, please use Railroad Ave to Mayfield.  You will need to exit retracing the same path.  Upon exit, all cars leaving the parking lot will turn right.  We will have duty personnel helping to show the way (map below).

Visor Tags for Carline Dismissal:

  • All families will be issued 4 visor tags on the first day of school (to be placed on your passenger side visor).  Make sure anyone who may pick up your child has a visor tag.  For our students' safety, they will not be put in a car that does not have a tag with their name on it.

  • Please email the school to request additional tags: bullpup@aephillips.latech.edu

Lunch:

School lunches will not begin until September.  Students are asked to bring a lunch from home (sack lunch/lunch boxes) for the month of August.  You will receive information about school lunches at our Meet and Greet event.
